For Sale – 1915 Model T Ford Touring (RHD)
Well-presented and reliable 1915 right-hand drive Model T, owned by the current keeper for over 40 years. Originally purchased partially restored from a well-known Belgian Ford enthusiast, with the restoration completed using quality parts, including a leather interior and new hood.
The engine and transmission have been rebuilt twice during ownership, most recently along with the magneto. The coils have also been professionally rebuilt. Fitted with Kevlar gearbox bands and Ferodo-lined rear brakes.
The car has completed many touring trips throughout Belgium, France, Germany and Luxembourg, including a memorable 12-day tour of the French Alps and Alpe d’Huez. It remains a dependable and enjoyable touring car.
Supplied with both non-demountable and demountable wheels, plus a comprehensive selection of spare parts including a restored spare coil, gasket set, wiring harness, hub caps and various other spares.
Believed to have served as a British Army scout car during the First World War before remaining in Belgium. The car has featured on Belgian television, including coverage when the Model T was named “Car of the Century” in 2000. A very usable, well-maintained Model T with an interesting history.
